The open federated communication network
I’ve been using Fastmail for almost a year as an email server and client. I have already written about it, and I’m more than satisfied. This year, the service turns 25 years old, and I celebrate it by quoting Rob Mueller and Bron Gondwana (respectively CTO and CEO) about email as the first social network.
Email remains the largest open federated communication network on the internet. Not controlled by a single company. Not part of any walled garden that can change at any time. Through open standards, email allows you to choose the best provider and to move your email where is best for you.
All the best!
