What a wonderful blogging world
I’ve mentioned in the past about Default Apps, the list of predefined software and services born last winter from the Hemispheric Views podcast. During this holiday season, I noticed that many bloggers have updated their lists1 highlighting all the changes. It was very fascinating, once again, to browse through the posts and make some considerations.
– Many Apple users switched from a previous password manager (1Password, Bitwarden, Enpass or others) to Apple Password. The Apple choice to evolve a function to an application, has been successful.
– So few bloggers use a personal finance management tool.
– Several uses Safari browser on mobile, but not on their desktop device. Firefox seems to be the first choice.
– Some bloggers pay for apps or services that I really consider unnecessary, either because it exists free viable alternatives or because it doesn’t add value to cheaper tools. And I would be curious to know why, if it’s lack of knowledge, whether it is out of habit or to throw away money.
– Despite the last point, I see that more others are leaving expensive recurring services to using standard or default products. This because to pay so many subscriptions has become burdensome to a bit for everyone.
– There are bloggers that don’t listen to podcasts. And I don’t know whether to feel sorry for them or envy them.
– There are a few bloggers that still use Viber. Viber, folks!
– There is that all blog that I’ve read and saw are stunning. Always. Whatever the design is.
And it’s a wonderful world.
