Clouds

For so many days I have written nothing. Nothing on the blog, nothing in my journal, nothing but emails and reports and analysis and bullshit to keep alive a professional social media account that I am already thinking of closing. Nothing.

Nothing because in my head, in addition to the work problems that have gripped me for so long during the past two years and that have accumulated and grown during the last months, I had clouds. White and veiled clouds that blocked all my vision and hid every attempt to look a little further. Clouds and nothing else.

This period is passing; it will have consequences, but I will write about it calmly, and, although I am not superstitious, I prefer not to anticipate things that will arrive—perhaps!—in a few weeks. The clouds are thinning out a bit.

It will take a while before the clear returns. But I can already see something, down there. The desire to start writing again, for example.
