Retiring the Signal account

In January 2025 I resurrected a Signal account that had, for all intents and purposes, fallen into disuse, and I shared it here on the blog with the intention of using it more often and with more engagement. For nearly a year and a half, I’ve communicated very little through the account, and only with a couple of friends who could just as easily reach me elsewhere.

I’ve therefore decided to delete the account, and to cut down on the number of superfluous apps installed on my iPhone.

So, if you want to get in touch, there’s email and other ways. If you have extremely secret and extremely delicate things to tell me – which I think would be difficult regardless – you’ll certainly know what tools to use to get your message to me.
